「自転車の二人乗りしたことない」

ROYが言う。

「しゃーない、うしろ乗って教えるわ」

私は言う。

初めてなのであまり人の来ないところがいいかな。考えて池の周りで練習することに。

うしろに人を乗せたときの曲がり方や、後ろの人が負担にならないような段差の登り方や、ブレーキをかけるタイミングや減速するやり方などをROYに教える。

冷やかし程度にTAXMANが自転車に乗ってついてきて、危ない坂道や細い道をガンガンと走っている。

滞在先付近を1周したTAXMANは気が済んだようで「じゃあ」と帰る。

マウンテンバイクの2人乗りで私がうしろからあっち、右と誘導するも、言うことをまったく聞かないROY。
